SUMMARY: Grow Jacobsen, Cushman, and Allied product sales to the Golf and
Pro-Turf Channels. Meet and exceed sales goals set forth by management.
Manage existing accounts and improve customer satisfaction. Conduct product
demonstrations and attend trade shows. Successfully develop and grow long-
term relationships with decision makers in an assigned territory.
RESPONSIBILITES: • AR will meet and exceed annual unit and dollar sales
goals by territory as determined • AR will increase brand market share through
sales calls and providing product demonstrations with customers in the field. •
AR will take the lead to organize on-site product training for customers. •
Demonstrate strong product application knowledge and be able to communicate
this knowledge to different levels of buyers and customers. • Develop a customer
call plan that is customer-specific for visits to targeted accounts. • Will have
responsibility for maintaining company-owned assets, which may include
vehicles, trailers, and demo products. Must be able to load, haul and drive a
vehicle with an attached trailer carrying the equipment. • Other duties as
assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS EDUCATION/TRAINING REQUIREMENTS: • Marketing or
Agronomy related field a plus. • Strong product and product application
knowledge
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: • 1 – 3 years experience selling turf,
agricultural or construction equipment.
Sodus Bay Heights Golf Club
Superintendent
Club Description:
Sodus Bay Heights Golf Club is a premier semi-private golf club located between
Rochester and Syracuse New York overlooking Sodus Bay. Established in 1924, the par
72 is a Geoffrey Cornish design of approximately 6700yards. The course is equipped
with a fully automatic double row Rain Bird irrigation system.
Requirements:
A certificate, associates or bachelor’s degree in turfgrass management or a related field
is required.
At least two years of golf course maintenance experience.
Must possess a NYS pesticide applicator license.
Background with operation and repair of irrigation systems is required.
Overall Description:
The golf course superintendent is entrusted with the maintenance, operations and
management of a golf course as well as manages labor, time, materials and finances in a
manner that is compatible with the environment, meets financial goals and serves the
members.
Job Description:
Responsible for the total turf management of the club, this includes but not limited to the
following:
This position is a working Superintendent. Will work with the crew on daily preparation of
the course for member and guest play.
Must be able to develop a cost effective chemical fertilization plan and implement plan as
to NYS regulations.
Salary: Commensurate with experience
