|Livingston Country Club Superintendent
Livingston Country Club is the premier semi private golf course in
Livingston County. Located in Geneseo, NY just minutes away from
Conesus Lake and 35 minutes south of Rochester, NY.
Established in 1927, the par 72 course is known for it’s true and
lightning quick greens.
-A certificate, bachelor’s or associate’s in turfgrass management
-A NYS pesticide applicator license is preferred but not required
-Hands on golf course maintenance experience
At Livingston Country Club we demand that our superintendent take
pride and ownership in the golf course. We ask that our
superintendent have a vision for the course and always be looking
at feasible ways to improve.
This is a working position meaning the superintendent must be
willing to supervise as well as work with the maintenance staff in an
efficient and effective manner to ensure that the club
maintains the best possible conditions while staying within an
agreed upon budget.
This position is a 9 month position and will begin in mid-February
and end mid-November

Sodus Bay Heights Golf Club is a premier semi-private golf club located between Rochester and Syracuse New
York overlooking Sodus Bay. Established in 1924, the par 72 is a Geoffrey Cornish design of approximately
6700yards. The course is equipped with a fully automatic double row Rain Bird irrigation system.
A certificate, associates or bachelor’s degree in turfgrass management or a related field is required.
At least two years of golf course maintenance experience.
Must possess a NYS pesticide applicator license.
Background with operation and repair of irrigation systems is required.
The golf course superintendent is entrusted with the maintenance, operations and management of a golf
course as well as manages labor, time, materials and finances in a manner that is compatible with the
environment, meets financial goals and serves the members.
Responsible for the total turf management of the club, this includes but not limited to the
This position is a working Superintendent. Will work with the crew on daily preparation of the course for member
and guest play.
Must be able to develop a cost effective chemical fertilization plan and implement plan as to NYS regulations.
Salary: Commensurate with experience
